Rick Marinelli, ND, M.Ac.O.M.
Rick considers it a privilege to practice healthcare and revels in helping others to optimize their health. We all have or will have personal health challenges whether these be physical, mental, or spiritual and what truly matters is how we deal with them. Comprehensive integrated approaches to treating disease and optimizing health are available and a partnership between the practitioner and the client affords the best results.
In naturopathic medicine we see nutrition as the initial basis for supporting your physical self followed by appropriate movement, mental, emotional, and spiritual nurturance. These are the things we should have learned in school and from our parents but unfortunately, not all are able to have this opportunity. If you are missing knowledge or ability here, we will help you to achieve this for yourself.
If we have developed addiction issues, good self-care my not be enough and active treatment is an option. These options include dialectical cognitive based therapy, mindfulness, acupuncture, herbal and nutritional medicines, movement therapies, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy. None of these treatments are mutually inclusive and some or all may be appropriate depending on one’s needs and desire for treatment.
Self-care and treatment is compassion in action. Let us help you to help yourself achieve the life you desire, full of freedom, ready to embrace all that can be.
